Inhalation chamber | Inhalofant

It is a device designed for the optimum dosage of aerosol medicines in pediatric patients. It allows to reduce the impact pressure of inhaler in the buccal and pharyngeal cavity, facilitating the dispersion of particles of the optimal size to be inhaled. In the case of this equipment was designed to be collapsible, additionally has the shape of elephant trunk and other characteristics to make it more manageable for this type of patients. Three-dimensional Inhalation Brand (11-159732).

Hypothermia device for neonates, this device is implemented to lower the metabolism of neonates and oxygen consumption, this equipment is used when problems are generated at birth and it is desired to mitigate the damages of the absence of oxygen in the brain of the newborn. (Functional prototype).

Participation: COO. R & D Manager., co-designer, creation of designs, plans, manuals. Creation of the first functional prototype, functional tests.

Phycoremediation Technology | Photobiorreactor LED for tests of consumption and absorption of CO2.

Boreactor for analysis of CO2 capture and consumption strains of midroalgas, with LED lighting, with electronic control system for handling of luminous exposure times, luminous intensity and GAS supply.

Participation: COO. R & D Manager., re-design, structural modification, design and coordination of manufacturing of the physics and control systems, test management and commissioning.

Phycoremediation Technology | Phycoremediation Plant for Oil Effluents (Pacific Rubiales)

Plant for remediation of effluents contaminated with oil, through microorganisms (Phycoremedicaion). Plant with the capacity to remediate approximately 20,000 liters of contaminated water in 24 hours.

 

The success of this type of process is in cleaning the basadon effluent in a biological process, this biology process is based on adapting a microbial cosorcio to consume waste or water pollutants. (In this case the consortium has preference for strains of microalgae).

 

Joint project with Phycospectrum of India, with the accompaniment of Dr. V. Sivasubramanian (http://www.phycospectrum.in/).

Participation: COO. R & D Manager., design engineer, coordination and supervision of assembly and start-up, supervision of the operation and results.

Phycoremediation Technology | Plant for effluent remediation of meat industries.

Plant for remediation of effluents based on microalgae, 2nd application of the technology applied in Rubiales, but in a different effluent. Generation of energy from the previous stage of the plant (extraction of methane, for energy generation, cleaning of methane with biological filter). Design, start-up and testing of industrial boreactor BFplus400 (In patent process). Implementation and start up of the first centrifugal machine for extraction of biomass in Colombia and the second in Latin America.

Participation: Coo-design of Boreactor, coordination and supervision of manufacturing, commissioning and testing. Installation of plant, supervision of operation and changes, installation of EVO2 certtrifuga, commissioning.
